Sri Lanka Premier League better known as SLPL, has adopted a new style from Indian Premier League. The League containing 24 match among 7 teams representing seven provinces of Sri Lanka will surely be an asset to the Cricket days of Sri Lanka. Uthura Oryxes is one of the seven team trying to bag the title of Sri Lanka Premier League 2012.

Uthura Oryxes SLPL 2012 Team a Short Note

Uthura Oryxes based on Dambulla represents northern province of Sri Lanka. The team Uthura Oryxes is founded in 2011 especially for Sri Lankan Premier League and it is expected that they will participate in all the three inter provincial championships. Rudra Sports Private Limited purchased the team for $3.4 million in 2012. They will own the team for seven years, after which a new agreement may be negotiated
